But despite the illness, I still had a pretty good weekend. Saturday morning saw me attend a gothic lolita breakfast session, where I did make some new friends and reunited with some old friends as well. Sure, I did feel like the odd one outta the bunch, but I still had fun nonetheless. To everyone, must apologise for being kinda quiet most of the time. Usually, I'm pretty quiet when I'm around a pretty new crowd, but I guess now that I know all of you, it wouldn't be such a problem anymore. After that, I went back home, only to get a phone call from my sis telling me that I have to pack my stuff since I'll be staying over at my grandparent's house tonight. Later on, decided to kill some time by watching several WrestleMania matches for entertainment purposes, then later, with my sis and G-TO, went off to Northbridge for dinner with Tasha M, Jimmy, Ee, Izza and Theo, where we had Chinese cuisine. With the night still being young, we were thinking of what we were gonna do to kill even more time. So, we headed off to Hit Box for a three hour karaoke session (minus Izza and Theo cause they went back after dinner) and sang the night away, which is pretty interesting considering that I have another upcoming karaoke session with Clara tomorrow night. Anyone up to join us? We went to Oriel's after karaoke for a drink and more chat before heading home. Woke up the next day at around 2:30 pm, then took my shower and decided to watch some Music Station SuperLive 2005 after that. We then headed over to Northbridge again for lunch at Saigon, then planned on going to King's Park. However, instead of going to King's Park, we switched plans and headed over to Cottesloe Beach to check out the sunset. We managed to catch it in time before it did set and all the hype about the beach was all true. The beach was just simply gorgeous. Probably in my mind, better than Hillary's where we would usually go to. I don't mind living near the area anyways since I am a fan of the sun, the sand and the sea. In fact, I do wish to own a beach house of my own one day as my personal retreat if I need to unwind all of my stress. The good thing is, we will be heading off to the beach this coming weekend. Can't wait for it. After a short, yet good time on the beach, we headed to Victoria Park for dinner, then parted ways, as I then came back to my beloved flat, did my flat duty since I was still awake, then went off to sleep. Maybe it's just me, by I'm beginning to like two-member bands these days. I like B'z, I like Dreams Come True and now, I'm beginning to like Sukima Switch as well. I guess the combination of having a lyricist and a songwriter as a duo does indeed prove that you can make beautiful music together. Till then, I shall bid ya'll adieu. |
