Entry: Chapter Eight: Somehow, I knew it was bound to happen sooner or later. Wednesday, February 22, 2006

I hate being dyslexic.

It cost me one hour of lecture just now.

It all begin like this. I woke up at about 9:30am and the class starts at 10:30am. As I took my shower, checked my laptop to see whether my D Drive is being defragmented, I decided to head off for lecture, while Falique's parents, who came by today, asked me to join them for breakfast. I told them that I was heading for class and to my horror, as I looked at my watch, it was 11:30am!

So, I missed my very first Principles Of Journalism lecture, as I sat in shock over what had just happened. Okay. In a way, I felt as if I just entered some weird-ass time paradox, where time moved by so freakingly fast. It could probably stem from that nightmare I had last night, but I dunno. It was just so weird. Somehow, I knew something like this was bound to happen sooner or later, although I guess this was just a little too soon. Hopefully, there's iLectures for the unit for me to catch up on.

Sis and G-TO are coming down to Perth today. Might probably meet up with them later on tonight for makan. Will see how things go.

I think one of the most controversial moments I went through last semester was failing my Popular Literature unit. What shocked me about the results was that I was doing really well, participating as much as I could, doing good with the presentation and scoring a Credit for the first assignment. I wasn't the only one who got hit with this bug as my friend, Leng, also got hit by it and to my surprise, Aceh, who's a classmate of mine and is a pretty bright student as well, also failed the unit! So, the three of us are planning to meet our lecturer/tutor at that time, Grant Stone (aka The End) and ask him what went wrong today.

Interestingly enough, that wasn't the first time that happened to me. Back in KDU, a whole bunch of us failed the Digital Media unit, which was later revealed that it there were errors in our results! In the end, quite a number of us passed that unit and we can all blame that dumbass lecturer, Lucinder Joseph, for fucking things up with our results.

I've got flat meeting afterwards, meaning I'll have to try and clear things up in our lounge so we don't give a bad image to the RAs, our fellow residents and of course, good old Willie, who'll be popping by to partake in this meeting as well.

Meanwhile, I'll have to try and figure out how to get to the city tomorrow to meet up with Jeff and Clara for coffee. Wonder what service is Transperth using now?

Oh. And be sure to check out this hillarious Mario Kart DS commercial. It's sure as hell funny as ever!
